We make rice at home, very frequently and it is a must for me, to have a cooker. I have a stove-top cooker that needs separate attention, making it tough if you are multi-tasking in kitchen. But tiger rice cooker is totally different. It took about 30 minutes for me, to cook two cups of rice and once cooking is done, the cooker changes to 'Keep Warm' mode! I literally did nothing other than placing the inner vessel with required amount of water and pressing the button! The 'Keep Warm' mode ensures that the meals stays warm until attended.
This rice cooker is perfect to prepare two dishes simultaneously with the synchronized cooking function. This cooker needs very minimal preparation time and with the press of a button you can make delicious meals in no time. Comes with a Non-stick spatula, Spatula-holder, Cooking plate, Measuring cup and a Cookbook, full of easy recipes!
The pressure value can be removed & washed but the lid is fixed. So, you might have to wipe it clean after using the cooker. I also show the lid in running water, that way it gets washed clean. The cooker is light-weight, so this shouldn't be a problem. Overall, very reasonably priced, elegant-looking, efficient & affordable cooking appliance that everyone of us deserve to have in our kitchen.

Synchro-cooking Mechanism
The steam from the cooking rice rises to cook the food in the cooking plate. The steam is then released from the top so it doesn't return to the bottom, thereby retaining the integrity of the flavor of the rice. Unlike other steam baskets, Tiger’s cooking plate has specially designed air vents on the side to only release steam upward. Everything cooked inside the cooking plate stays inside the cooking plate. The cooking plate is made from BPA-free plastic.
